Id be interested to hear what you think of the recent battering that "Made in Italy" has taken in the Italian media, with the RAI3 programme "slaves of luxury" and the book Gomorrah, which point to problems with labour conditions and ties to organised crime in the supply. Diego Della Valle of Tods has said more needs to be done to ensure that customers can trust that Made in Italy means great working conditions. I understand there are some initiatives underway in Italy on this. I could dig out the info if you are interested. The Gomorrah book, in English, is at:
